Well so we are gonna take an ocean adventure. sounds cool. Now we are researching everything we can find that has to do with sailing. We even took a free online class in boat safety at BoatUS
We are currently looking for insurance as well. Unfortunately because of the age of the boat, the low cost of the boat, and the inexperience of the crew, we are having quite a hard time of it. We are also planning our route. So far it sounds like we are going to take the ICW (Inter Coastal Waterway) from Rhode Island to Florida and then down to the Bahamas for a while. Unfortunately we can't be too specific about our plans because we are looking for investors to help us out. I will say though that this idea is really going to be a killer!
Phoenix is working again, this time in the yard out at the fields. He get's to do a variety of jobs including painting the oil rigs after they are welded together.
Noah is researching the things we may need for our trip including solar panels, batteries, anchors, autopilots fishing gear and such. He is also looking for sponsership money from places like REI and Bass Pro Shops but it's hard to figure out who you need to talk to, no-one seems to know anything.
